Grocery Rewards Program
The BSK Foundation benefits when we purchase groceries using the Safeway, King Soopers, and Natural Grocers community rewards programs. The benefit is greatest with the Safeway program because we receive 5% back. With King Soopers, we receive 1% or less. With the Natural Grocers program we also receive 5% back, but because so few members use this program, the benefit is small.

Safeway
For Safeway (groceries and gas), please use your old BSK linked Safeway cards or request a new one from Dave Krieves. You can reload money on your card at Customer Service or at the checkstand at any Safeway store. Make sure you have enough reloaded before your groceries are added up by the checker. Safeway keeps track of the reloads for us. When our collective cards have reloaded $5,000, the BSK Foundation receives 5% or $250.

King Soopers
For King Soopers, you can enroll online to have a small portion of your grocery purchase to go to the BSK Foundation. To enroll online, go to kingsoopers.com. Click on Community Rewards at the bottom of the page. Either create a digital account or sign in to your existing account. If you are signing in to an existing account, make sure that you enter the number sequence on the King Soopers card that you carry or have on your keychain. After signing in, choose Blue Spruce Evergreen Kiwanis Foundation, organization number SU877.
Make sure that your King Soopers card is scanned every time you are in the checkout line, and 1% or less will go back to the BSK Foundation. The amount we receive depends on other charities ... we are competing for a pool of money with other nonprofits.
