The mission of EChO is to assist people in our community with their basic and urgent needs and to help them realize their potential on a path to self-sufficiency.

Services include: Food Bank, Summer Lunch Program for kids, Job Center, Evergreen Shelter Program, Veteran and Senior Services, Utility and Heat Assistance, Housing Assistance, Resources and Referrals.

Current Situation at the Food Bank

  • Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, families using the Food Bank have increased by 70%.

  • More than 130 children are receiving healthy lunches through the Summer Lunch Program—a record for EChO!

  • Some stores have stopped donating food due to COVID-related shortages, so EChO has to purchase more food to meet increasing demand.
