ABOUT OUR MARCH 2021 FEATURED RECIPIENT
Green Team LR.png

Blue Spruce Kiwanis is challenging the mountain community to help support the Wilmot Elementary School Green Team Superheroes, a student-led, real-world, project-based program that uses the Eco-Schools USA Pathways to Sustainable Development as a foundation.

Each Green Team Superhero is assigned a classroom in their school to lead and monitor while conducting sustainability audits, delivering presentations, and implementing school-wide contests. They proudly wear their green superhero capes and convey their message to their peers, that together, we can make a difference.

Wilmot’s program has been so successful that this year, other local elementary schools will be launching their own Green Team Superheroes.
