Upcoming Programs

  • March 16-18 Midwinter Conference 2007 Renaissance Denver Hotel
  • March Channel 6 Auction We get to be on TV. We staff the phones for their fundraiser.
  • April Pack 119 Pinewood Derby Pack 119 is our chartered cub scout group and we attend their Pinewood Derby and cook hamburgers and hot dogs for them.
  • May Prayer Breakfast: A breakfast for Christians to get together and celebrate their faith. A very nice breakfast with an interesting speaker.
  • June & July Camp Comfort: We go out to Camp Comfort and help the kids fish at the fishing pond. Please volunteer to help.
  • June Rodeo Parade Breakfast: We set up shop and cook and serve breakfast for the parade participants and spectators. Please volunteer to help.
  • July Triple By Pass We set up a stand at one of the rest stations and serve snacks and drinks to the riders. We receive a nice donation for our time. Please volunteer to help. We received a donation of $6,000 for 2006
  • July Summerfest We cook and sell brats and dogs at the Summerfest Arts Festival. This is a fundraiser for us. Please volunteer to help. This event brings in about $2,000.
  • July 3-7 International Convention in San Antonio AmeriSuites Riverwalk Hotel is our assigned hotel.
  • Sep 9th Big Chili Cookoff: This is the our main fundraiser. We bring the Big Chili Cook-Off to town. Please volunteer to help. This event brought in $10,000 to our club in 2006. www.BigChili.org
  • September Child Safety Day We help out at the child safety day here in Evergreen.
  • September Installation Dinner We have a nice dinner and install our new officers.
  • October Make a Difference Day: We meet at the Yellow House and go around to elderly homes and perform yard work. Please volunteer to help.
  • October 31st: Halloween Walk: We staff the cross walks downtown to keep the kids safe while trick or treating. Please volunteer to help.
  • December Christmas Walk Downtown We staff the crosswalks downtown to keep street crossers safe. Please volunteer to help.
  • December Bell Ringing This is the Salvation Army Bell Ringing Campaign. We are outside King Soopers ringing the bell. Please volunteer for a time to help. We brought in over $37,000 in 2006.
  • Christmas Angel Tree - This is where you pick an angel off the tree and buy the gift listed on the back. They are then distributed by Christian Outreach at their St Nick party.
  • December - Tween Party We have a party at someones house to celebrate the Holiday season. Be sure to come and visit with everyone.
  • December 31 Skate the Lake We help set up the Lake for the New Years celebration by Drive Smart. Please volunteer to help.
